10th Annual Mimosas for Memories Raises $141,000+ for Alzheimer’s & Dementia Support
CINCINNATI – May 3rd, 2025
A Decade of Connection, Celebration, and Community Impact
The Giving Voice Foundation (GVF) is thrilled to announce that the 10th Annual Mimosas for Memories was an extraordinary success, raising $141,001 to support local older adults living with Alzheimer’s and dementia, along with their caregivers. Hosted at the historic Cincinnati Club on Saturday, April 26, 2025, the VIP sold-out event drew 350 attendees, a record-setting number for this decade-old tradition.
A Brunch With Impact
Attendees enjoyed a vibrant brunch featuring bottomless mimosas, bites from local chefs, gourmet desserts, a professional photo booth, and a curated silent auction. The VIP experience included a seated brunch, early access, and live entertainment. This year’s event was emceed by the always-energetic JonJon from iHeart Radio’s KISS107 FM, who brought warmth and wit to the stage, making every guest feel acknowledged and accepted.
In addition to the brunch and entertainment, guests participated in a powerful Fund-A-Need balloon giving moment, raising $18,550 from 50 generous donors—up from $11,050 last year. The silent auction brought in $10,515, featuring luxury experiences, date nights, and packages donated by local businesses. One lucky guest, Dan Quible, also walked away with a coveted bottle of 20-year Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon after participating as a speaker and sharing his caregiving journey.
Mission in Motion
Every dollar raised at Mimosas for Memories directly supports free, innovative local programs such as:
- Creative Connections and Music in Motion, movement and music-based classes.
- Brains in Bloom, a floral arranging program promoting creativity and cognitive activity.
- Dancing to Remember, a ballroom dance program.
- Purposeful Planning Program (PPP), a consultative service for individuals and families navigating all aspects of the caregiving journey.
- Caring for The Caregiver, a professional author led, creative writing experience for caregivers to explore the gifts and challenges of their lives through poetry, storytelling, and journaling.
