As we step into 2025, Giving Voice Foundation is thrilled to announce an incredible milestone in our journey of serving the Greater Cincinnati aging community. Krista Powers has joined our team as our very first Executive Director, bringing with her a wealth of expertise, passion, and dedication to our mission.

Meet Krista Powers: A Leader with Heart and Vision

Krista brings over 20 years of experience in fundraising strategy, team development, and organizational growth. Her background is rich with leadership roles at impactful organizations, including the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden and the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Cincinnati. Krista’s ability to connect with individuals and inspire meaningful partnerships aligns perfectly with our mission of advocacy, education, engagement, and storytelling.

Beyond her professional accolades, Krista is a certified life coach, author, and community leader who has dedicated her life to empowering others. Her personal journey as a breast cancer warrior and her history of supporting dementia caregivers showcase her resilience and unwavering commitment to making a difference.

A Vision for Growth and Impact

In her new role, Krista will oversee every aspect of Giving Voice Foundation’s operations, from managing financial performance to expanding our reach through innovative programs and partnerships. Her leadership will guide us as we:

● Launch our fourth Creative Connections program.

● Enhance caregiver support through in-person and virtual options.

● Build on our successful community events like Mimosas for Memories and Cincy Brews for Brains.

Krista’s dedication to fostering connection and her strategic vision for the future make her the ideal leader to carry our mission forward.
